Vehicle eligibility

Reliable vehicles create better outcomes for everyone.

CoreFleet uses age, mileage, condition, service history and mechanical inspection—not appearance alone—to determine whether a vehicle is ready for the program.

Preferred profile

Best positioned for approval

  • 2019 model year or newer
  • Under 85,000 miles
  • Documented maintenance history
  • Clean interior and exterior
  • Economical to operate and repair
  • Strong parts availability

Program minimums

Required for consideration

  • 2018 model year or newer
  • Generally no more than 100,000 miles
  • Clean, unbranded title
  • Current registration
  • No dashboard warning lights
  • Working air conditioning and safety equipment
  • Pass CoreFleet’s inspection

A well-maintained vehicle between 100,001 and 120,000 miles may receive individual consideration after an enhanced inspection and service-history review. No mileage exception is guaranteed.

Not eligible

Conditions that result in rejection.

CoreFleet may also decline a vehicle based on model-specific reliability, repair history, parts availability or the results of its inspection.

Title or authority problems

Salvage, rebuilt, flood, lemon-law buyback or other branded titles; ownership disputes; or financing and lease terms that do not permit the intended use.

Mechanical concerns

Warning lights, leaks, overheating, excessive oil use, transmission concerns, unsafe brakes or tires, or unresolved safety recalls.

Condition concerns

Unrepaired collision damage, significant interior damage, inoperable air conditioning or safety equipment, or a condition unsuitable for reliable rental service.

Mechanical review

Every vehicle must prove it is rental-ready.

The onboarding inspection is intended to identify safety concerns and likely sources of near-term downtime.

  • Computerized diagnostic scan
  • Engine and transmission operation
  • Cooling, battery and charging systems
  • Brake, tire, steering and suspension condition
  • Leaks, climate control and safety equipment
  • Road test and documented condition photographs

Ongoing standards

Approval is the beginning—not the finish line.

Vehicles may require periodic reinspection and must remain safe, reliable and properly maintained throughout the management relationship.

  • Owner funds maintenance and repairs promptly
  • CoreFleet coordinates service and downtime
  • Vehicle may be paused when a safety or reliability concern arises
  • Continued eligibility is reviewed as mileage and condition change
